Oh my garland, December is here and Christmas is just a few weeks away! I’m all about the Christmas movies, from animated to heart tugging to classic to cheesy. I’m here for it all! Disney+ has loads of great Christmas movies, so here’s what I’m watching this sparkly season!
For the whole family
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
- Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas
- Mickey’s Christmas Carol
- The Ultimate Christmas Present (DCOM)
- Noelle
- The Santa Clause 1-3
- Home Alone
- Santa Buddies (my littles love this, but I’m…somewhat less of a fan)
- Miracle on 34th Street
- Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
- Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year
There are also some old shorts that are winter and Christmasy that work for the whole family:
- Pluto’s Christmas Tree
- Winter Storage
- Corn Chips
- The Art of Skiing
- The Hockey Champ
For the Grownups
There are a couple of movies I’m not sure the whole family is ready for or that are just targeted more to grown ups.
- Three Days
- I’ll be Home for Christmas (older kids may also enjoy this one, but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it so I can’t fully recommend it for the whole family)
- Snowglobe
- The Mistletones
There are more holiday movies on Disney+ than these listed, these are just the ones I’m excited to watch. One feature I love on Disney+ is the collections. It’s a great way to find something to watch. If you go to the side menu, then select ‘Search’, you’ll see a series of collections below the search bar before you type anything in. This is where you’ll find the holiday films collection, and find even more wonderful Disney movies to watch this holiday season.
