I review books because I love reading. If you are interested in having me review your book, please explore this blog and make sure you think it would be a good fit. I do not read horror. I only read a limited amount of sci-fi/fantasy, nonfiction, and suspense.
So what are my favorite genres? I adore fiction. Middle grade, YA, women’s fiction, mystery, and historical fiction top my list of favorites. I love magical realism, well-developed characters, and any story that can whisk me away. I primarily accept requests for books published within the last three months, or to be publishes in the next six months.

- A brief description of the book
- Why you think I’d be a good fit
- An author bio and link to the author’s website (to be included in the review)
- If you’re interested in being interviewed
I strive to reply to all requests within a month. The author/requestor typically provides an advanced copy of the book in digital (Kindle/Kindle-compatible or via NetGalley) or print form.
I provide a full review and create custom graphic design banners for each review (these include the book’s cover and a Pinnable Pinterest image). I do not rate based on stars within the review.
Where I Share Book Reviews
When I publish my review, I cross post to social media and book review/retail sites. Once the review is posted, I will email the review link and tag the author in social posts. Review Limitations
It is possible that after reading the book, I will discover it is not a good fit for me. I’m a firm believer that just because I do not enjoy a book does not mean it is bad, simply that it wasn’t a good fit for me. I don’t write negative reviews. I’m not the author’s critique partner and I have no desire to share why it wasn’t a good fit for me publicly, as I don’t want my experience to dissuade someone who could have a completely different reading experience from me to not read it. I do not accept review requests if I don’t expect to like the book.
I have not had this happen yet, but in the event that I read the book and it isn’t a good fit, I will not review it and will notify the submitter that it will not be reviewed.
