Book Review: The Power

The Power is an insightful journey into an alternate reality, a dystopian adventure full of suspense and intrigue.

Each character is carefully and artfully crafted, so throughly developed they feel frighteningly real. Each viewpoint offers a fresh perspective, providing an insight into that character and how they fit against a new world order.

The plot is detailed and alarmingly accurate. What if women were stronger than men? How would that change the world order? This intricate look into power and how it plays in these characters lives is fascinating and engaging. I had trouble putting it down, and often found myself thinking about the plot and its characters as I went about my day.

The Power promises just that- a heady dose of power sure to rock your world view.

Trigger warning- this fictional novel takes on deeply troubling issues, including rape, and there are scenes of exceptional violence.
